The different styles > The Baroque

The XVII-th century gives birth to a style, which expresses itself differently in every country following the national temperament of the artisans. In France, he is called Louis XIII, Louis XIV, the Regency which can also define under the angle the baroque as under the angle

Rococo : the time of transition and of short duration, a rather different furniture is discovered to it in the sense that some artists remain faithful in the style Louis XIV other artists, as Cressent, are in a sense the avant-garde of that will be the style Louis XV.

* The dragons (typically the Regency).
